refreshing macros in access 2003

I have a mdb in Access 2000, that when opened in Access 2003 doesn't have the
checkbox for refreshing all macros like 2000 does.

Is there a way of globally refreshing macros in mdb without individually
doing it.

Can you give a bit more detail? I am not familiar with the concept of
refreshing a macro. Where exactly in Access 2000 do you find the
checkbox you are referring to?
