Refreshing records in Access forms

I am attempting to replicate the effect of clicking on
Records --> Refresh in the Access toolbar when working on
an Access form. I would like to be able to write a macro
that has this same effect rather than having to go to the
toolbar each time. I have tried using the Requery action
but that disrupts the record that is being displayed on
my form. Any suggestions?
