Refreshing the enterprise resource pool

Emily

I have built up my team from the enterprise resource pool and subsequently
updated the enterprise resource pool with holidays etc. These changes have
not taken affect in the referenced resources in my project and the 'Update
Resource Pool is disabled - any ideas?

Hi Dale

Many thanks for the response. I am also the adminstrator for project server
and updated resource information in the Enterprise Resource Pool using the
Tools-Enterprise Options-Open Enterprise Resource Pool option. Following
this, i was unable to see the 'updates' made to the resources in any of my
projects that were referencing these resources. If i start a new project and
select the resource, the changes are there, it is just in projects that were
utilising these resources prior to the changes that have not been updated to
reflect this ???

Open one of those old projects and press the F9 function key. Does the
information show up now?

Are you seeing errors on the server's application event log? If so, please
post the errors here and we'll invite our technical folks to study them and
propose a solution to your problem.

Hi Dale,

I have checked the application event log and there are no microsoft project
related errors. The only errors reported are related to ASP.NET
(aspnet_wp.exe could not be started. The error code for the failure is
8000040055. This error can be caused when the working process account has
insufficient rights to read the .NET framework files.) which should not have
any impact, should they?
