Refreshing the Parameter Dialogue Box

How can I refresh the Parameter Dialogue Box in a report so that I can pull up a report for a new record
I have created a one page report that shows all neccessary data for a client or record. When opening the report
I type in the person's last name into the parameter dialogue box. Print a copy of the report, and then, I want to refresh
the report and enter a new record into the parameter dialogue box to pull up a refreshed report.

Do I need to create a command button on the toolbar that will bring up the parameter dialogue box?
I don't know where to start

You need to close the report, then re-open it using the new
parameters.
