reg edit settings problems

I've found the website link:
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/oeshare.htm
which provides details on how to share contacts between
Outlook XP and OE6. This worked for me once before but I
believe I have some incorrect settings in my Regedit
files. Can anyone advise what is supposed to be contained
in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4 file?

specifically a list of KEYS, STRING VALUE, DWORD and
specific settings.

Thank you!!!!

My problem could be because I have both Office 2000
PowerPoint and Office XP installed on my computer. It's
possible there may be some setting conflicts in the
registry.

Thanks! I hacked into the registry settings only to get
the following response: Unable to open the address book.
The address book may not be installed properly. Any
thoughts?

By the way, all was up and running well (including using
one WAB) until I installed an old version (from Office
2000) of Power Point (single program) onto my system,
which has Office XP. I think it may have changed some of
the settings.

Is this the Windows Address Book that is giving you that error?
If so you need to reinstall Outlook Express after renaming any wab32.dll
files that you find.
