Regarding ASK on Drop

I have created a set of stencils in Visio 2003. They work great for the most
part. The custom properties that I have put together for each shape seem to
be correct in all ways. However, when I drop some shapes on the page the
information entered is lost. It seems that the ASK on DROP is causing all of
my problems. I have tried a hundred different combinations but nothing
consistently works. How can I fix this? And why does it happen?

Do you mean that the ASK is happening when you don't want it?
Turn this off in the master's shapesheet, in the custom properties
section, set Ask to False.

Thank you Paul.
What is the relation between the "Custom Property Sets" and the Masters
Custom Properties. In a given drawing I use both and this seems to cause
havoc. The custom Property Sets save time in several ways, but I think I am
miss using them and causing my self problems. It seems that when I change
the custom property sets in any way it causes a total out of cinc. state.
Thank you for any help you may offer Paul

Do you have any duplicate property names in these sets? I've been
looking at something similar for my own software and duplicate names
can be a problem.
