Due to a serious computer slowdown in Outlook, I
uninstalled Office 2000 and when I tried to reinstall, it
asked for registration # which I don't have. The computer
and software came from AVA Computers, now out of business.
What is my next option? Please help. I rely on this
machine pretty heavily and currently I'm dead in the water.

Try downloading this small program and see if it will give you the users key
for the Office 2000. It may help. It saved my bacon when I lost the
programme on one machine and I had to find out which users key had been used
on that machine.

Another thought, if you download the Belarc Advisor from the site below it
will give you the serial numbers of all your software installed on the
machine. I printed a copy of my details and filed it just in case I need
the information in the future. May be worth a try. If you get the numbers
in front of you and call Microsoft they will probably help you to do an over
the phone re-installation.

Good luck
