Registry changes in FP2002 for blocked browsing capability

Am changing Registry values in FP 2002 to allow my hover
buttons in PREVIEW to work. As novice, inexperienced in
Registry settings:


1) Is this correct revised key form?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Application Compatibility\FrontPG.exe

(value changed to 1)

2) How do you backup Registry settings? Don't see command
in Edit.

1. Unless Microsoft virtual machine is installed on the computer
( or the java download from Sun Micro ) The hover buttons won't work.

2. Backing up the registry differs with different OS's. There is no back
up capability
from "within" regedit. It's done "externally"

Keep in mind unless the visitor to your site have the JVM installed they
will not be able to navigate your site using the hover button applet.

This creates an automatic backup - first back up the registry using the
command SCANREG from Start | Run

Or,

From a Command prompt (or Start | Run) type SCANREG /FIX (note the space
between the G and Slash) and hit <return> - windows will reboot. This will
fix any errors that you may not know are there - plus create a backup of the
registry.

That is an invalid KEY and will cause you problems
Incorrect

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Application Compatibility
