My OS is Vista.
MSOffice 2007 was included in my PC on purchase as a free trial. I was
unable to get thru the process to make it permanent with a product key.
I performed an uninstall from the control panel. After I rebooted, it left
traces in the registry. There is also an activation guide, presumably to
tell me how many times I have left to run it. Since the registry says the
Office is still there, I cannot uninstall the activation guide.
I have performed registry editing before, but would like to know what to
look for in order to be successful. Don't want to muck it up.
If you have knowlege of what to look for, or where to find this information,
I would appreciate the help. In the MS support site, I saw nothing having to
do with uninstalling their stuff. Is that a shicker, or what?
Thanks.
