Hi, I am copying Visio 2003 drawings and pasting them into Word 2003, but the
drawings change when they are pasted.
I had trouble with the dotted lines converting to solid lines, but this
problem was fixed by advice on this site - I added the
MetafileDashLineAsSolid registry entry to my
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Visio\Application and set it
to 0, which translated as "do not substitute solid lines for dashed or dotted
lines". That was very helpful.
Another problem is that some of my shapes are not retaining their fill
properties. e.g., arrows which were filled with solid green are now
greenfilled and hatched, or just hatched with no fill. Is there a registry
entry that I can set to "do not change shape fill"?
Is there a list somewhere of registry entries, what they do and what the
codes mean?
Thank you!
