Regular, Active, Followed

Hyperlinks.

It's obvious what a "Followed" hyperlink is but what is the difference
between the other two. I wonder because I can't get the settings on my
custom theme to working correctly for what I consider the "Followed"
hyperlink.

thanks.

Your Theme Nav buttons have 2-3 states

Picture
- Normal Hyperlink
Selected Picture
- The Page you are on
Hovered Picture (active graphics only)
- OnMouseover (state when you mouseover a link)

A page (text links) can have 4 hyperlink states

Hyperlink (link)
- default for unclicked - no mouse overs - or unfollowed
Hover (hlink)
- state when you mouseover a link
Visited (vlink)
- the page you are currently at or have previously visited
Active (alink) - IE only
- state when you first click - on mouse down - but before you switch to the new link (on mouse up/click)

Obviously, I've done something wrong because my hyperlinks do not change
color when they've been visited. I've tried changing the settings within the
theme and the page properties yet I'm still stumped

The only time it changes color is right after I've created the link. It is
the new color until I save and close FP. Yet the next time I open FP to work
on the page or visit the site, the change color aspect doesn't work. Any
ideas?

You have to open IE, Tools, Internet Options and clear your History.

Thanks Thomas, that did it.

Select each of your text links on each page, then right click, font, and set
the color to Automatic.
