reinstall microsoft office

Two years ago I purchased this computer with XP. Then I purchased a copy of
Microsoft Office Teacher Student edition. I have the trial key , but not the
full product key. I know I bought the full edition because I have been using
it fo 2 years. I know MS has my registration for this product because they
said I would have to continue to prove I was a teacher. I just had to
reformat my harddrive and of course lost the installed program. Now I just
have a trial version. I paid for a full version and MS has record of that.
I have been passed around from phone number to phone number and no one will
help me. How do I get MS to look up the registration that they have on file
and upgrade the product to full as I paid for it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft cannot look you up to tell you what your product key is. And even
if they could, how would they know that you are who you say your are?

Do you have some sort of proof of purchase for your STE? A receipt or
something?

Afraid it is the users responsibility to keep installation media and keys in
a safe location.
Even when you have origonal receipts MS cannot replace 'old' media, eg
Office2k
