reinstall of Access 97 lost ability to import excel tables

I recently reinstalled office 97 to repair outlook in the
process i have lost the ability to import excel tables
into access. It worked before. I have installed SP1 & SP2
and have installed the database drivers thru add/remove
utility. but the problem persist. Does any one have any
tips.

Find the file "mstext35.dll" in your computer, most likely to be in the
sub-directory "System32" of the Windows directory and use Regsvr32.exe to
register the file with the OS.
