My buddy had to do a total system reinstall from a backup due to a virus. She
has an older computer that she wants to hang onto for awhile yet. It came
with Office installed and at some point she bought an Office 2000 upgrade.
When she tried to reinstall Office from her upgrade disk, it obviously did
not work. She doesn't have the original original system disk that had Office
on it. She doesn't have enough RAM to run anything other than Office 2000
(recent upgrades are too memory intensive). Any suggestions? I have seen a
version of Office 2000 on Amazon, but it seems to be configured for Windows
98. She has XP.
