Reinstall Office 2007

Office 2007, you don't have the option to REINSTALL. All you have is repair,
add or remove, or uninstall. How can I perform a clean install of Office
2007 without having to uninstall the whole office suite and then reinstalling
it? I'm particularily needing it for Excel.

What don't those 3 options give you that you think you want? Why do you want
to reinstall without removing it first?

Its a hassle having to uninstall it first then reinstalling again. Office
2003 gave you the option to reinstall. This version doesn't.

I'm looking at Office 2003 right now. It has three options:
- Add or remove features
- Reinstall or repair
- Uninstall

The second option is a little confusing since "reinstall" and "repair"
mean exactly the same thing.

In Office 2007 if you do a "repair", you are actually "reinstalling"
Office without changing any of the pieces of office that are being
reinstalled.

If you think you have a reason to reinstall install it, burying a problem
under a reinstall will not get rid of it.

Because a Windows Installer box now appears briefly when I open any Office
2007 program it was suggested in another forum on this site that I do a
complete install over my current installation to cure the problem. Will it,
should I do this?

Unfortunately they do not recommend using that with Office 2007. I don't
know what you are supposed to use or why they don't recommend it tho.
