Reinstall Office without without the disk

We have a compluter where Office 2007 (Vista Operating System) is not longer
working and we ned to reinstall. The disks and key code have been lost. Is
there any recourse as the software was registered with Microsoft or are we
out of luck and need to repurchase the software?

Firstly you can use a utility to tell you the key.
Belarc Advisor is one - there are others. You can get that here:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Once you are back in possession of the key, you can use ANY CD of the same
type (i.e. OEM, Retail etc etc) to re-install Office. It's the key that is
important, not the media...
