reinstall outlook 2000

When I try to insert an address in Word I get this message

word could not insert the address. one or more address fields are
missing from the selected address book pick another address book or change
your address layout and try again

I tried to change the address layout and still can't get it to work.

I want to delete the whole thing ,reinstall the file. Is there a way to do
it without having to retype the addresses?

Have to ask, you are using Contacts address book?
