reinstall word 2002

i was have all kinds of problems getting word to open and stay open so i
unistalled it and reinstalled it now it wont take my product key i have no
idea what to do can someone please HELP PLEASE

Reinstalling Word generally does *not* help when you run into trouble.

For the product key issue, see the KB article at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823570/en-us ("How to obtain a new product
key for a Microsoft Office product").

Also, note that you may have to contact Microsoft in order to reactivate a
product after you've made changes to the hardware in your computer.
