I am buying a new computer this week. Can I uninstall Office:mac 2004
student & teacher edition and reinstall it on my new computer? a sales
rep at the apple store said that since I had used up my three keys
already, I had to purchase a new copy of office. Is this true????

No, it's not true.

You can use Office on as many machines as you like. However, your 3
licenses allow you to put them on a maximum of three desktop machines at
any one time (plus a laptop for each license).

As long as you delete the copy (use the Remove Office app from the
Install CD) on one machine, you can then install Office on another
machine using the same CD Key.

The only time Office will care is when two machines with the same
Product ID are on a network.
