I did a non-distructive recovery on my computer, this
wiped out my Office 2000. My computer was passed on to me
so I do not have this disc still, would anyone know how
to recover Office 2000, when I clik on my short cuts ie.
WORD I get a messege "problem with short cut, action is
only valid for product that are currently installed"
Office was installed before the non-dist. recovery. Would
anyone know how I recover this without the disc
..

I am running a HP pavillion 554y

Yes that is a penalty of having to use an HP recovery disk instead of the
full Windows CD. In future never buy a computer which uses recovery disks in
lieu of the full windows CD
I dont think that you can install Office 2000 without the disks
