ReInstallation Ineffective

I purchased Office Professional 2003 from a university about a year ago.
Yesterday I was forced to do a system recovery on my computer--now when I am
trying to reinstall Office onto my computer it says my 'product key' #, the
25 digit one, is invalid. How can I solve this problem???

Maybe your system recovery CD reinstalled a trial version of
Office 2003 that came with your computer from the computer
manufacturer? If yes, then you need to uninstall the trial
version before you install your full version.

Higher Education

I uninstalled Office 2003 Trial Edition to no avail. I think I should clarify
though--The program installed, but when I try to open it, it won't let me in.
So my number worked once, to install, but it is asking a second time now in
the setup screen. I am still baffled. Thanks.
