need to reinstall my office 2008 to a new hardrive. will my product license allow this? my hardrive crashed a week ago and i need to replace it. thanks.

Sorry to hear about the crash, but the first point to emphasize is Do Not
allow anyone to try to "recover" Office from the old drive and/or migrate it
to the new one. You'll have problems if they do. Install Office fresh on the
new drive then apply all appropriate updates.

As to your specific question, Yes, there is nothing to restrict you from
installing Office on the new drive. This is especially true if the old drive
is unusable and/or is being disposed of. Office on the Mac can be
reinstalled as often as you wish using the same Product Key. You're only
restricted as to how many systems you can have the same copy installed on at
any given point in time.
