Reinstalled Word 2000

I had to reinstall microsoft works suite and now I cannot
open word 2000 without completing the user information and
I do not have the 25-character CD-Key. They say I can
find it on a yellow sticker on the back of the CD Jewel
case - which I do not seem to have anymore. Is there some
way to get past this? I cannot seem to get into word at
all. Hope you can help. Thanks.

Hi Gwen,

If it is a retail version contact Microsoft at (800) 936-5700 or if
outside the US see this site: http://microsoft.com/worldwide

If the software came preinstalled on your PC (OEM version) then you'll
need to contact the manufacturer for a replacement key.

If the OEM will not provide you with a replacement key contact
Microsoft and explain the problem to them. It is my understanding they
will generate a new key however you could incur a nominal fee for this
service.
