Reinstalling after Restoring System

H

I recently had to restore my computer due to a virus/trojan. When I went to
reinstall Office '07, I am getting an error message that the previous version
cannot be found. I cannot find the previous version's disk, and it was not
installed on the computer when I got it. I have tried to email microsoft but
they are asking for a product "number" and not the product key. I have tried
all of the #'s listed on the Microsoft certificate on the box as well as the
product "key" with no luck. The "help" guide says I can locate the product
"#" from within the software, but since I cannot install it, I cannot get
into the software to get the #. Can anyone tell me of a way to find the
product"#" so I can get intouch with Microsoft and re-install my software?

You obviously have an upgrade version and without that qualifying product,
you can't install the upgrade. You need the CD so I suggest you keep
looking.

HI,

Don’t waste time in looking for numbers or discs,
just download office and install it with your key.
