Reinstalling after system software and HD reboot

Hello

I am about to reinstall the system software on my new Mac because I did it
prior to a web connection and, now that I have that, I want to re-install my
student/ teacher version of the office x on the same computer.

Can I use the same key code etc. or will I have to use the second of the
three I am allowed to use?

You only need one keycode for each computer you install on, so you
can use the first one. If you're going to reinstall Office, I'd
suggest running Remove Office from the Value Pack of the Install CD
before reinstalling your system software.

make sure you apply Office updates 10.1.2, 10.1.4, and 10.1.5 from

MacTopia Downloads
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx

after reinstalling, and then repair permissions:

OS 10.2.x/3.x: Run the Disk Utility (in the ./Applications/Utilities
folder). From the First Aid tab, click "Repair Disk Permissions".

OS 10.1.5: Run Repair Privileges (same folder, or download from
