Reinstalling Office 2003 Pro after hard drive reformat

P

Patti

I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows XP Home Edition. When
I bought my computer, I purchased a brand new copy of Office 2003 Pro. I
installed it on my desktop and on my laptop. Since I have reformatted, Office
2003 will not renistall on my desktop. I get a message stating that I have
exceeded the allowed number of installations. I paid over $400.00 for this
software and cannot afford to buy it again. I must have Office to do my work.
Is there any way around this? I have the box and everything that came in in
it wiht the software to prove that I purchased the software.

Thanks,
Patti

You can try a telephone activation but you may still be up a creek. How many
times have you activated this software?

I have only activated it twice - once when I installed it on my desktop, and
again when I installed it on my laptop. What is the number to call to try
voice activation? $400+ is a great deal of money for only 2 installations.

Thanks,
Patti

The best I can do is to try to find the number on MS's site.
