hi,

i have office 2000 on two computers, one of which i am
disbanding. I have bought a new computer and wanted to
know the right way to go about moving office from one
computer to another -i am just worried about registration
and getting a message from microsoft saying i have office
on 3 computers, when i am using it on two.
How should i go about uninstalling and deregistering ms
office so i can install it on the new computer?

thanks in advance to anyone that can help me

Office 2000 doesn't require registration or activation to run, just
uninstall from the old PC, install on the new, and hit the skip registration
button.
As long as you uninstall from the old PC, you're legal.
That is, providing it's a full liscence, not an OEM copy; if it's an OEM
copy, you can't transfer it to a new PC.
