Reinstalling Office

I purchased Office XP a few months ago and installed it
on my laptop, which has recently become irrepairably
inoperable and will be recycled. I am purchasing a new
system and would like to (re)install Office there. Can i
do this?

When you install Office XP again and try and activate it over the internet like you would normally do, more than likely you will get a message that says "this product has been activated on another computer" or some such. It will give you an option to activate over the phone and will provide you with a number to call.
Call the number and explain to the operator the reason for the new activation. They will help you re-activate your Office product.
We have had to do this a couple of times at our business.
