Reinstalling Office

I'm upgrading my hard drive and want to move my Office 97
to the new hard drive. Office came installed on my PC when
I bought it. How do I get the key number?

I saw a lot of similar questions on this newsgroup but
cannot find any documents on the Microsoft support
website. It would seem that since this is such a popular
question, they would post something about it.

If its an OEM copy, and this would seem to be the case, the Key and disks
would have been supplied by pc supplier.
If you have genuine MS Office disks the Key would be on the jewel case

If it is OEM and you cannot obtain Key, consider adding new drive as slave.
You can move/reinstall apps for which you have disks to yr new drive.
