reinstalling onenote

Basically, after using the trial version of microsoft onenote, I really liked
it and decided to purchase it. It's been a few months and and for technical
problems I have to reinstall my windows and that will remove any installed
programs.

The problem is, I have unfortunately lost the information like cd key that I
used to fully activate onenote when I had purchased it.

What can I do now? The only information that I have is the Product ID which
I can find in Help. I just don't want to go ahead with the windows
reinstallation and then not be able to use Microsoft Onenote.

As with all activation issues you'll have to contact MS directly.
Call them via their support hotline.
We here in this newsgroup can not help.
