I recently had Windows 98 become terminally ill, and
rather than reformat my hard drive, added a second drive
to do the Windows reinstall on. That worked well, and I
was able to reinstall Outlook, Visio, FrontPage, etc., all
but Project98. The problem is that Project98 is an upgrade
and needs a previous version. I have the floppies to
version 4.1 and when I try to start with reinstalling
V4.1, it wants a qualifying Win95 product. Unfortunately,
none of qualifying Win95 exist on my computer anymore.
The previous installation of Project98 is now on my D:\
drive, (what used to be the C:\ drive) but I cannot get
the Setup program to recognize previous installation so it
can proceed with the installation. Any suggestions on how
I can overcome the problem other than buying new software?
Thanks
