After I bought my first copy of 10.1 I bought the upgrade for Office. I
owned Office 98 for Mac. the installation went fine. And I have been
using it. Now I have upgraded to 10.3. However on my lap top I wanted
to eliminate the partition I had been using for system 9. I no longer
need system 9 for the applications I have on my laptop. In the process I
lost my Office X. Now I have tried to reinstall it but I can't because it
can't find my earlier version. So what happens when a person uses an
upgrade version for a version that you no longer need? Any one help
me here?

You can just insert the CD for Office 98 when you install Office X.
