Are you referring to Microsoft Works Suite 2003 rather than Office
2003? The Works Suite is different from Office 2003. You have
Microsoft Works, a few miscellaneous applications, and Word 2002.
If this is the case then the product key for Word is different from
the product key for the Works Suite installation. Look through the
information that came with your computer and see if you can find it.
If you can not find it then contact the manufacturer of the computer
(OEM), since they installed Works Suite and sold it to you with the
computer, and ask for an new product key for Word 2002. If they refuse
to provide one to you then contact Microsoft at (800) 936-5700 or if
outside the US see this site:
http://microsoft.com/worldwide
Explain to Microsoft that the OEM refused to provide you with a new
key and Microsoft should generate one for you. However you could incur
a nominal fee for this service since support for OEM installations
should be provide by the OEM and not Microsoft.
