Rejected New Tasks

I have a couple of instances where staff have created tasks for themselves in
their tasksheet, but PM has rejected it. I now find myself in a situation
where the task is not in the project, but remains in the tasksheet. I know
that they could simply "Hide" the taskline, but I am slightly worried about
leaving loose ends in the database. Is there a good protocol for getting rid
of such redundant tasks?

Thanks in advance.

There aren't any good way I'm afraid.<g> The passive way is to have the
resources use the hide button, which you seem to realize is dicey. The other
approach it to use a SQL query. You'll want to grab the pjsvrdb.htm document
from your help file folder in the Project Server installation directory on
your server. You can use the sql at the following FAQ as a guide. You'll
need to change a value or two.
