I am experiencing a problem with getting users logged
into the SQL server when they launch Project.
The environment is:
OS = XP Pro
Project 2003
ProjectServer 2003
SQL Server 2000
After establishing a connection to ProjectServer in
Project and trusting the web site, when the user launches
a local copy of Project 2003 they receive the following
error:
Connection failed:
SQLState: '08004'
SQL Server Error: 4062
Server rejected the connection. Access to the selected
database has been denied.
It then launches a SQL Server Login dialog box, but
neither the MSProjectUser or Use Trusted Connection
options allow a login.
These same users are able to use Project and attach to
the database via CITRIX. Some of these users were able to
access the database from their local copy of Project
until they received a new PC or had Project re-installed.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
