Rejected Updates To Remaining Work in PWA

Hello
I am using Project 2003 and Project Web Access.
When one of my Team Members changes to the figure in the Remaining Work
column in Project Web Access and selects Update All - the Project Manager
gets an email.
If the Project Manager then goes into PWA and rejects the changes the Team
Member gets an email - but when the Team Member goes into their Task List in
PWA then Work Remaining figure has not reset itself to what it was before the
change was proposed. (therefore the next time that Team Member submits and
changes to the Project Manager it will resend this amended/already rejected
Work Remaining figure).

I hope that someone can help - or maybe tell me that I am missing something!
