Relationships from PK to PK

Question is: why do the relationship connectors connect between tables only
and not at the field in the respective tables? Can it be persuaded to draw
from field to field rather than table to table?

I defined all the relationships in a small Access MDB and printed out a
lovely Relationships report. Shows the one-to-many from the "one" table to
the two "many" tables. What's nice here is that the connecting arrows go
from the "one" field to the "many" field in each of the "many" tables.

In Visio I did a reverse engineer. In the Database properties window it
clearly indicates the same relationships. In the diagram the connector goes
from one table to the other table at a central point, not to the respective
fields which establish the relationship.
