Relative hyperlinks in PowerPoint 2001

PowerPoint 2001 does not give you the option to click relative hyperlink.
Neither does it let you change the file name. Is there an update for Office
2001 for Mac that fixes this problem. If so, can you tell me were to get it.
Microsoft Or is there another way to do relative hyperlinks.
Thanks

This won't work with images, but for sound/movie files, try putting the file in
the folder with the PPT before adding it to the PPT.

Does the packaging function of PPT supposed to resolve this? I'm banging
my head against the wall this problem in v.X. Collect the files, burn to
CD - some machines play it just fine, others complain the links are
missing.

This is without changing platforms either.

Package for CD in PPT2003 is supposed to resolve the links, yes.

You might want to check the name of the CD on the machines where it works vs
where it doesn't.
