We have posted 6 forms on the server using the Administrator upload. They
have been activated to some sites and work very nicely. There is not any
managed code; I just used this method o gain access to one template from many
site collections.
Anyway, when you come into the site SSL and save the form it has a
"Template" Link" attribute that gets hard coded to the SSL link; if you come
in to the form locally and create it that same attribute get hard coded tot
eh local version. Now when you come back, using the opposite access method,
the link stays hard coded the other way and fails to open. When I view the
properties I can edit that link and either change the SSL or take out the
leading URL information all together and then it works.
When these same forms are uploaded to just one site collection or one
library the Alternate mapping kicks in and they work fine; so please don’t
tell me I need to set up alternate mapping. That is done. This is a very
specific looking issue with the Admin uploaded Form from the form server. Is
there a way to make this work right?
