We are using Outlook 2007 and we are getting this error message from one of
the coworker's email. We have a small business network with the mail server
being supplied by the ISP.
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

550 5.7.1 <[email protected]>... Relaying denied. Proper
authentication required.
I called our ISP and checked the Port Numbers and Mail Server IP And he said
that all looked good. I have the server authentication using incoming mail
server settings selected. I have checked it against the older computer from
which the person moved from and it seems all the settings are identical. She
has 3 other people's emails being relayed into her inbox because they left
the company, so she took over their positions as well. The ISP setup the
relay, he said everything looked good on his end. She is however able now to
send emails to some people, but others it will bounce back with that error
message.
Any suggestions? This is getting extremely frustrating. I've done all that I
know, and am out of fixes. Thanks in advance!
