Relocating the .pst file in Outlook 2003

I refer to Robert Sparnaaij guide " Backup and Restore ", a " How To Article
". In there, there is a section/paragraph headed "Relocating the pst-file
(optional)".

I have followed the steps therein and relocated my Outlook data files from
the C: drive to another drive, E:, including renaming the files on the C:
drive to .old.

Here's my problem. In Outlook, if I go to Tools>Options>Mail Setup Tag>Data
Files Tag, the path shown for my Outlook Data files is the E: drive, the new
location. And that is OK.

However, when I go File>Open>Outlook Data File, the path shown is the old
location on the C: drive. i.e. it's showing me the files renamed .old.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't both processes point to the
same location i.e. the E: drive? How do I resolve this problem.

File>Open>Outlook Data File will always default to looking in
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Aplpication Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Why do you
consider this a problem?

That should be "Application Data", not "Aplpication Data".
