remainder in outlook starts too late

Hello,
When I open Outlook the rimainder for my tasks starts
after 1-2 minutes. I want to make it to start after 10-15
seconds. Is this possible and how to do it with Outlook
XP.

There is no setting for this. The speed of the calendar depends on how full
it is, the settings of recurring appointments and (if you are connected to
one) the speed of the Exchange server . Also the total size of your mailbox
has an effect on the overal speed of Outlook.
