Remaining Work disparities between PWA and Resrce Open Assign view

Within PWA, we seem to have some issues regarding Remaining Work. When we go
to Resources/View Resource Assignments and select ANY resource within our
organization we notice that for COMPLETED PROJECTS (those with 0 remaining
work), the view shows otherwise. It shows all kinds of remaining work for
projects that we know have been closed properly. In fact, we can go to
Project Server 2003 and verify that tasks on these projects have 0 remaining
work. Similarly, we can go to other views in PWA (Project Center), and
again...the data is accurate.

Ideally, we would like to use this particular view to identify tasks and
projects that should be addressed by that resource. For example, someone
approached recently and wanted to know what specific projects they were
working on at this point in time. This view should be able to give us that
information.

Mike:

Without some analysis, there's no way to say for certain what is going on,
but this may be related to orphaned assignment records. You could try saving
the project as an mpp file, deleting the server copy, and then import the
project back to the server. Republish the project selecting to overwrite
actual work when doing so.
