Remaining Work on My Task

In the 2007 My Task view, I want to show the Remaining Work on tasks - but I
want it to be display only (don't want team members to change it - just view
it). Is there an easy way to do this?

I tried to add a custom enterprise field (task/number) using a simple
formula that sets it to equal the Remaining Work field. It gives me an error
(maybe I'm doing the formula wrong - it is simply "=[Remaining Work]"

Any ideas???

Make sure that the custom field is set to roll down to assignment levels,
and make sure that you open an recalculate your projects by hitting the F9
key, and then publish your projects. You must do this before the values will
show in PWA.

The formula is parsed incorrectly. The formula is simply:

[Remaining Work]

However, I believe that you will not be able to display this custom
enterprise field in your My Tasks page, regardless of whether you select the
"Roll down..." option or not. If memory serves me correctly, the system
will not allow you to display custom enterprise fields that contain a
formula in the My Tasks page. I would recommend you try it anyway, and
please correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.
