Remaining work set to zero in Tasks view but not reflected in project

Hi,

My resource set remaining work to zero for a task and sent for update.
Upon accepting the time my plan in Project Pro is updated but remaining
work is not set to zero there. Can anyone tell me why this might have
happened? Resource assignment is not 100% for the task.
