remember layout and view

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi there, how can I have Word remember my layout and view settings for documents upon re-opening them in a new session? For example when editing a document I want to have the window re-sized to a particular dimension say on the left of my screen, with the document in it at a certain zoom level, showing two pages at a time and a certain set of tools in the palette. Is there a way to remember this kind of thing, the same way as say Firefox remembers the sessions when you re-open? Thanks in advance, Paul.

Hi Paul:

Having adjusted the document to the way you want to see it, SAVE it.

Word saves the view information for a document inside the document itself.

To control new documents, close all open documents, then use File>Open to
open your Normal.dotm, adjust the view, and save it.

Cheers
