Office 2003, Word and Access, mail merge.
I created the Word docs on my machine. When I copied them to a network
share they lost their printer settings - a non-default printer (Sharp
printer/copier) with duplex and stapling. They were reset to print from the
network user's default printer.
I changed the user's default printer to the Sharp and redid all of the Word
documents to print from that printer, with duplex and stapling. Now they
remembered the default printer, but still forgot duplex and stapling.
I installed SP1 for Office. They still forgot duplex and stapling.
Obviously this is an Office bug. Does anybody know a work-around? Or is
there some fix out there?
