Reminder default is inconsistent

Outlook 2002 SP2

My default reminder is set for 10 minutes. When I select
a timeslot and add a new appointment, the reminder
correctly sets for 10 minutes. When I don't select a
timeslot, or select an all-day appointment, the reminder
always sets to 18 hours.

Wacky, eh? Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks!

18 hours is the default for all-day events...it's hardcoded and can't be
changed. (I know, I'm not fond of it either.)

Thanks, Jocelyn -

I guess I can chalk it up to someone's idea of a new,
helpful "feature" in the 2002 version!
