reminder/flag for follow up

Is it possible in outlook 2007 to set a reminder for a task/contact/email
without setting (at the same time) a flag for follow up.

Reason :
* for each task/contact with a flag for follow up : I want to see this is my
to do bar (next to my calendar);
* I don't want to see tasks/contacts with only a reminder (without a flag)
but when setting a reminder you must set a flag for follow up
