Reminder Problems

How do you correct the problem which results in an error message stating
"There was a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders
may not appear. Cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment."
This error message appears every time I open Outlook despite my deleting
every reminder I can identify in my calendar.

Try starting Outlook once with the /CleanReminders switch. If you need help
using Outlook command line switches, look here:

Next time you could also try searching in www.groups.google.com that's how I

Many thanks for the help; however, it seemed to work for one day and then the
problem began recurring. I attempted the fix multiple times but still have
the issue. I will continue to seek out the solution but would appreciate any
other thoughts.

I'm experiencing this same problem in Outlook 2007. The /Cleanreminders
switch did nothing.

I too have just recently started experiencing this problem in Outlook 07 and
had no success with "\cleanreminders" & "\resetfolders". Please help.

If you used a backslash like that, it's no wonder. The command switches
start with "/".

My appologies, I used the"/" to run the switches which launched Outlook, but
did not resolve the problem.

Update; as my problem started to occur just this week, I did a system
restore to last week, and I no longer receive the message when Outlook is
launched. I wish I knew what changes caused this problem?

Hi Don:
My problem is much the same as yours. It appears that the commercial for
MAC is right on with its description of Windows error messages. Not sure how
to do the "clean reminders" function and it is not in the support index. Can
you perhaps give some guidance here?

Hi Brian,
All I can suggest is to try the following;
-Go back and verify all the previous threads.
-Try a system restore if your problem is not to old.
-Re-install Windows XP ( which I am seriously considering with all the
issues I have had wih Vista).
-Buy a MAC.
